When beehives become large or decided that they just want to move on, they will do what is called "Swarming".  This process involves a group of bees who suck up as much honey as possible and then bind together and move on to another home.  If you are one of the unlucky people who happen to find a swarm trying to make a home in your tree or other structure, you may be unsure what to do.  Contact us, we know exactly what to do, from swarm removal in trees and outdoor structures to hives that have already made their home inside yours, we do it all. We do not just remove and relocate the bees but, will get rid of the honey comb and honey, that if left will attracted rodents and pests.  Most tree removal companies, exterminators and other beekeepers don't do structure hive removals and leave behind the comb for you to retrieve.  We however, strive to make sure that bees won't return again and other pests don't move in behind them.

See our pictures below of and example of a structural swarm removal:

The owner of this home had been walking her dog outside and heard what she thought was a small plane.  When she looked up she saw a hug swarm of bees flying overhead.  Since she is allergic to bees she went into the house.  Later on she heard a buzzing in her chimney and a few bees coming out of it.  A couple of days later she called us and this is what we found.

1. This is a picture of a chimney that shows just a couple of bees flying from it.  What it doesn't show is what you see in picture number 2.

2.  After opening up the chimney it reveled all of these bees, busy at work making a new home for them. This hive had been in this chimney for less than a week.

3.  After we were finished with the removal this is what the chimney looked like.  We removed all bees, wax, comb and honey.

WE SERVE ALL OF UTAH

We are quick dependable and most importantly EXPERIENCED in bee removal.

In most cases the bees are able to be relocated on our bee yards without having to be destroyed.

Check with your homeowner insurance company, some cover the cost of the removal minus the deductible.

When makig the decision between hiring an exterminator or hiring a licensed beekeeper to handle your removal here are some of the things that set us apart.

1.       We NEVER leave any honey or comb behind.  Exterminators on the other hand usually have a separate charge for this removal. Honey and comb removal is included in our removal fees. Comb left behind presents a couple of problems;  it is a fire hazard because the wax is flammable, think of a candle left in the walls of your home and when the right conditions occur it is up in flames. It is also a health hazard, honey attracts many different types of rodents and pets, and this will only add to your problems, you could end up with mice, roaches, and ants to name a few.

2.       We take preventative measures to help make sure that bees won’t return.

3.       We also help do our part in saving the environment by preserving the bees in as many cases as possible.
